Teccy help needed!

    got a data disk of live music, video's and tv stuff etc, most of it is in .mpg or .jpg files, thought i could just play it on win media player but it seems i cant..... tried vlc as well,

    any help ??

    OK well jpg files are pictures so should open in an image viewer.
    mpg files should play in anything, especially VLC as it uses its own internal decoders not the codecs installed in Windows.
    Try copy-and-pasting the files to the hard drive of the machine and see if it will play them then.

    if it doesn't play, search for "mpeg codecs" in google, and download them. make sure the site doesn't look dodgy though...
