teccy help needed

    I have an old laptop that the screen is smashed on so I can't use it. I want to use the hard drive to store some photos/music etc to give me some more space on my new(er) version.

    Is it possible to connect and move files between the 2 computers and if so how?

    As you can tell I have limited computer knowledge beyond plug in and connect to internet to see how the reds are getting on.

    you can connect the drive as an external drive on your new one

    Whip it 'art, shove it in an external hard drive enclosure, plug into t' exisitng PC via USB and yer should have a new external drive.</p>
