Teccy help please, I'm stranded

    Home computer's gone down,When switched on it goes through the disk check schedule first, then it comes up with a message box 'Mode Not Supported' and it stays like that. I've checked for the obvious things like loose connections etc. but i cant see anything.

    What OS are you running

    Can you boot from a CD (if you have one) or a floppy -if you have a floppy drive and boot disk?

    Windows , XP, if thats what you mean, I'll try that when i get home from work thanks. Do you mean simply put a disk into the drive & see if it plays? Sorry but I'm not that teccy minded. (doh)
