my girlfreinds 12 year old daughter uses my computer and her and her freind have made a website ( her freind is 12 going on 18) and it was a bit near the knuckle as i found out when i did a history check, now the daughter says that it was on her mates computer ( not mine) but she could delete it as she had the password but how come the site is in my recycling bin if it wasnt on my computer, or is she trying to pull the wool over an old dinosaurs eyes
RE: what exactly is in the recycling bin? a few folders with her name on and some old porn that i,ll admit to
Well, how's it got from her mates comp to thine ?
Unless she's logged onto it from yours I suppose. To be fair, you're better asking someone who has a clue.

I would say that if there are files in your bin the site has been on your computer. I've checked with my brother and he says the same. You can share sites where you have a password to get onto them but the site is usually stored on the computer that created it. Hope this helps.
well thats what i thought but i dint want to accuse her of lieing when i dont know enough to prove it.
RE: what exactly is in the recycling bin? and this was in your recylcing bin as in you'd saved the porn to the computer and then deleted it and sent it to the bin? or it was just porn that you'd looked at on the internet?

Try to reason with her and give her the chance to explain. I share a site with some friends which I have a password for so I can edit things but the things can't be deleted and go in my recycling bin as it wasn't created/stored on my pc.
RE: I would say that if the site was made on her mates computer and then your daughter looked at it from yours it would obviously be in the history file but not the recycle bin but she could have saved the images etc to your computer from the internet or even saved the whole site by accident?
The best way to find out is if its still in the recycle bin, then you can restore it and see when it was created etc.

RE: what exactly is in the recycling bin? my porn that i,d got off the net then dumped it to my bin. (nowt to heavy, that Lea Walker bird off big bro)
RE: what exactly is in the recycling bin? she may well have done the same as you then. was probably created on her mates computer but your daughter then visited it and saved the odd thing.
Was the site by any chance a piczo, bebo, myspace or freewebs site?
