I'm having trouble watching the footie highlights on Virgin Media sports.I can watch other clips on Virgin Media but as soon as I try the footie a box comes up saying Windows media player error class not registered. When i click on to details a message comes up saying,No more imformation available.Any ideas, thanks.
Sounds like a problem in the registry, check to see if theres any dll or ocx files in there that arent correctly registered. Poet
I got this error message a while back, it turned out to be something fairly simple - just needed an updated version of DirectX which you can download for free. If that isn't the case (of which i tried first), do a search for some DirectX dll files or ocx, quartz.dll tends to be one of the most adbundant and download it - copy it into C:\\windows\system32 and then once its in there register it, open a cmd prompt up - type in regsvr32 quartz.dll and hit enter - you should then get a msg saying its been successfully registered. Let me know Poet
