I have 2 laptops that can connect to a Wanadoo wireless router. With one there's no problem but with the other it works for about 5 minutes then loses the ability to read web pages etc. The computer says the connection is still active but nothing happens. If I disconnect and reconnent then everything is fine for another 5 minutes. Any ideas what's going on? Would be great to know as it's making me tear my hair out. Thanks
try changing the channels on the livebox go to start programs wanadoo inventel configure livebox then go on access configuration pages username admin password admin then find the channel changer channel 9 usually the best if not do a factory reset unplug all the cables out the back of the livebox after 30 secs replug the power cable while holding number1 in then let the phone light the @ light and the fastforward light come on then once they have come on let go of number 1 and the exclimation mark starts flashing wait til all the lights av stopped dancing about and only the antenna and the @ light is flashing then reconnect the other cables then uninstall by going to start programs wanadoo inventel uninstall livebox click select all then execute then restart pc put installation cd back in (easy setup cd) then go threw insall wanadoo for the first time it wil ask for the wepkey and it is the 26 digit key on the bottom of the livebox and it wil ask for ya username and password if not known ring customer services and then enter it then u should all be ok, if not an inventel wireless adapter they wont help u
RE: try changing the channels on the livebox if that doesnt work ask sambora or total_tyke because i may have missed something or there maybe a problem with the line ring up and they will do a line test make sure you dont fail dpa and be on the phone for 45 minutes else i may have to ring you backff ff ff
