Do any of you fine people know what's the most likely cause of Windows XP crashing with a blue screen? It happens about once a day with the following error message:

    BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : 805034A1 BCP3 : B427F5D0
    BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Any help much appreciated. A pointer where to look would make my day. Cheers.

Put BCCode into Google , it looks like a common issue.

    Thanks all

I will try following up the BCcode in Google - I didn't know which of those numbers to search for. System restore is harder as I cannot remember when it started and I'm always doing stuff to my computer. Bad practive I know

    Cheers everyone
