The mother-in-law ( in her 80's ) still has a video recorder/player (currently not in use) She has still got loads and loads on Videos which she would love to watch again. My question is, she used to watch them through her tv when analogue was still around, can she now watch them on her tv which is digital of couse? If it is possible can anyone explain what i would need to do to get it up running for her. Thank You
Should just be able to connect it as you used to I think. Arial cable from video to telly (no need for feed into the video though. If its got scart sockets just connect the video to the telly with one and press av/tv button on the remote and search through the "buttons" till it shows on the telly whats in the video. Barring that get the ones she wants transfered to dvd.
Yes she can. Tell her to use a scart lead to connect them together and then she just needs to work out how to select AV1 on her TV. TV's are digital these days but they still have the capability of connecting analogue things to them.
