Righ click my computer > properties, click the hardware tab and click device manager. Do you get any devices with a yellow question mark next to them?

then you need to install the drivers from the motherboards disk (assuming its on board sound)

if you have installed a super dooper sound card (ie plugged one into the mother board seperate) install the disk that came with that sound card.

be very carefull though running the motherboards disk, you don't want to mess with owt else.

If you aint got disk for you onboard sound with your motherboard, then you need to suss out what motherboard it is (and model) and then do a search on google for that brand and model motherboard with sound driver,

    eg

    ???? motherboard drivers

once downloaded/installed, you will be sorted

thats about as much as I can give you without doing it for you

PS, the same goes for your ethernet controller

right click on the question mark and select update driver then follow the defaults....

if it wont install then you'll have to download the drivers, shouldn't be too difficult.
