RE: Technomuppet question - how do I save a text file as a jpg? I've got Corel draw if thats any goo That doesn't make sense, you can't really save a text file as a jpg. You could create an image in corel draw, which I presume has a text tool and paste the words from the text file in there?
RE: Technomuppet question - how do I save a text file as a jpg? I've got Corel draw if thats any goo Nothing I have to say on this subject makes any sense. I'll give that a go, cheers.
RE: Technomuppet question - how do I save a text file as a jpg? I've got Corel draw if thats any goo It depends what you are actually trying to do.
Because once you create a jpg that displays the text, you won't easily be able to change the words, and people wont be able copy/paste the text from the jpg. Also if it is just writing on a flat background, you are probably better saving in a different format. JPGs and flat solid colours don't tend to mix too well. You might be better with a gif or png or summat.

RE: Technomuppet question - how do I save a text file as a jpg? I've got Corel draw if thats any goo
It's just the logo for my Amazon storefront. Apparently they accept gifs too. Is that easier?

RE: Technomuppet question - how do I save a text file as a jpg? I've got Corel draw if thats any goo Its not easier, its exactly the same, but gif would probably look better. In either case you want to create a new image at the specific size you want it to display. Make sure you have the proper background set so it matches the site, then add the text with the colours/styles etc you want. Then save as the specific file type you want. If you don't know what you are doing it might look a bit naff, you might want to look into anti-aliasing etc. Or just drop me a pm, it should be a 2 minute job if you want summat simple.
