Techy help please

    Im wanting to connect a Desktop PC to my HDTV (my tv has got PC mode on it), iv got the monitor cable (iv tested and i do get a picture) but i need a cable to get the sound to run through the TV speakers anybody know what kind i will need?

    Most TV's with a PC mode have a PC audio input too. This will be in the form of a 3.5mm stereo jack, same as the speaker connector on the PC.

    So a stereo 3.5mm to 3.5mm lead is what you most likely need.
    However, check for this socket on the back of the telly first.
    Alternatively, some newer graphics cards have HDMI sockets, which carry both video and audio. Check near the monitor port on the PC. Or if not, some souncards have an optical SPDIF digital audio output. If your TV has one of these as an input, a SPDIF optical cable will do it.

    Most likely is the first option tho.
