Techy Help Please

    How do i know what type od sound card i have installed ?
    I've downloaded Belarc but that doesn't tell me. I've been an bought some new speakers from P.C World (Where i bought the P.C from)and they told me i could use 5.1 speakers as i would have a 5.1 sound card. But i can't get the speakers to work.
