Getting message from my firewall saying this is trying to connect to internet - any ideas how to get rid of it?

I've had that and got rid of it. I'll have a root around.

Cheers - tried that but if failed

    However - I think I've managed it

Booted up in safe mode, deleted the kernels8.exe file from the Windows/system directory.

    Ran a registry clean up

    Rebooted as normal.

    Looks to have cleared it.

Good. I couldn't find what I did. You've done well there.
