Looking for a Tv box for my daughter's room - was thinking about getting her a NOW TV box - anyone got one and what are they like? What channels do they have ? Can anyone recommend a different one? Was looking at a chrome cast as well . Any help would be grateful received
Never tried chrome cast but I know its got YouTube... Now TV doesn't have YouTube but has Lots of free catchup channels BBC iPlayer and five on demand plus music vids on vevo
Leaning more towards the chrome one - daughter spends a lot of time on youtube - didn't realise Now tv didn't have it
Chromecast relies on having another device ie phone tablet to cast (redirect) streams from. So you find YouTube clip on device then press cast and it starts playing on TV and cuts device or of loop. Same with iPlayer / plex etc. Now TV ROKU WDTV etc has a remote so you can control the application itself that is native on player with full control of User interface. There a lots of options now. Now TV works well . Horses for courses
