I thought he looked a bit

... how can I put it, 'solid' around the midriff. I gave a little polite clap when he came on as I've always thought he was a quality player and it's probably the last time I'll see him play live.

He was signing autographs for the kids in the West Stand during the game even though he was getting a bit of stick. Credit to him he laughed it off.

He didn't take too kindly to Danielle Lloyd chants at Layer Road, earlier this season. He also spent the entire match trying to get Kozluk sent off, getting in his face etc, when he should move on from last season.

    He's past it really

.. only good for ten minutes and even then couldn't make Colchester look much better.

Good footballer but the sun has long set on his effectiveness.

Did anyone else notice that whenever the ball went up near our box Sheringham anticipated every second ball..

If you could put his head on young legs he's be worth 50 million

Koz and Teddy had a bit of a word and a grin while they were warming up at side of pitch.
