Every time I’ve seen him he’s looked good with the ball at his feet and his link up play but not really looked like scoring. I guess with Norwood’s injury, he should get a bit more of a chance in the coming weeks.
That penalty miss at Donny might have given him a kick. He was desperate to take the ball when Jalo or Martin were both on a hat trick and he made a mess of it. FF to last week and he unselfishly set up Martin for the second goal. I think he’ll get a few games now and will relish the chance.
Agree with RC Tyke. The lads link up play is quality. I appreciate it’s a weaker standard in the pizza trophy but I’m sure a better opposition won’t effect his touch & weight of pass. Just needs to try & find the net more often.
