So he's going permanently to Cukaricki....currently 4th in the Serbian SuperLiga, no fee, but City have a sell on clause, should he ever be worth anything. Just strikes me as petty, whatever their % is, if it ever comes to fruition it'll be peanuts to them but probably a fortune for the Serbian club. I guess they want to recoup wasted wages, it's not like they've invested time and energy on him, he's spent most if his time there on loan.
There’s no such thing as “big club generosity” - never has been. Look at what Leeds did to us with Allan Clarke. Any decent club would have thanked their long serving player and sent him on his way to his first managerial position with a FREE TRANSFER. But no - not them. “Ok Mr Dennis - you want our star striker? That’ll be £55,000 please!!” Disgraceful lack of consideration for a Fourth Division neighbour. Just one of the many reasons to despise Leeds.
With the amount of financial charges they're facing, they could probably have done with more % from younger/fringe players earlier on..!
