I had a lovely trip to Wales with my wife last week, but returned with covid as a souvenir. Just about recovered now though, so all good. Can't complain about anything, there are millions worse off than me, so best wishes to you and Will.
Never heard of it, off I go… Edit: we’ll that’s getting a follow, thank you! I’ve been hanging out on the wrong part of Twitter.
Just finished reading Bobby knutts (Brilliant comedian, actor etc. Sadly no longer with us) biography vol. 1. Great read. Ey up Knutty. (Just ordered vol 2) particularly liked his comment on one of his mates' " He'd shag a spider if he knew which pair of legs to open.' New one on me lol. Fell about for an hour couldn't get it out of my brain
Highly recommend Bob Mortimor's autobiography - quiet , shy lad who makes it big by accident. Great read!!
I read a couple of autobiographies when on our recent holiday. They were 'This Much Is True' by Miriam Margolyes & 'Windswept And Interesting' by Billy Connolly. I can recommend them both. Both funny and touching throughout.
Read Billy's biography mate ( although windswept doesn't spring to mind) Truly shocking early life. But an absorbingly good read. Edit (Just looked and mine may have been the one written by Pamela Stephenson)
Love bob Mortimer. Will endeavour to get round to it. If it contains all of his 'would I lie to you' truths. It's got to be a funny un for sure. Edit Just ordered
Might not be your cup of tea, but I always like a bit of Karl Pilkington when I'm down. "you are a real doctor aren't you?"
England match tonight in the nations league. Oh sorry , I misread your thread you said summat nice haha..
My wife was 70 last friday and my present for her was tickets to see her favourite singer Gilbert O'Sullivan (yeah I know) at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall next monday. So we're going to spend the weekend on The Wirral (one of our favourite places) in our motorhome. Hope the weather is ok.
