What temperature do people on here set their heating to?

I have mine set to 19 degrees C, but visitors moan that their extremities are about to fall off. What do you lot think?

    58 degrees C

In the summer, then we turn it up as the longer nights draw in.

    Thanks

Will have to try that. Maybe I will get more visitors. And maybe they will stay longer.

    What?????

Are you sure you aren't posting in the wrong thread? Sounds like you should be advising the guy with the joint (blaze)

No, not that joint, I meant the lamb joint.

    Low, high, somewhere in between!

Don't have a temp gauge - just control on the boiler

You can't compare different houses mate.

There are too many variables - air flow, distance of the thermostat from the nearest radiator, where cold air enters the house, all kinds of things.

I have the Aircon set at 20C , at least if you go outside frozen you get 5 mins of relative comfort before you start to boil!!

    Agree

Over here we have one room with a bloody great window down to floor level. If we get that room warm enough, the rest of the house is like a sauna with a knackered thermostat. If the rest of the house is just right, the window room is too cold.

Still, there are worse problems I suppose :D

    25 C is comfortable

I have a constant battle with the old cow, she turns it up to 35 and I turn it back down to 25, driving me nuts. I might have to super-glue the effing thing.
