Ian, someone who gave me so much support through some very tough times when I first arrived in St Petersburg in 2003, sadly decided to take his own life in January 2014. I can't believe it's been 10 years already. A fanatical Luton fan, I'm so sad that he's not around to see his beloved Hatters in the Premier League.

Mental health awareness has moved on a lot in the last ten years. If anyone's not feeling great then seek help. Online, offline, friends or anonymously, there's always someone there to talk to.

Unbelievable to think that Ian, a man with so many friends and who was always ready to help others, didn't feel able to reach out to any one of us in his hour of need.

He sounds like a wonderful friend. So sorry for your loss and hope he is at peace now.

    All my love mate

His lads at Luton would certainly be making him proud now
