    Not been to Tenerife before but just booked to go to the Marylanza 5* hotel on 26th June for 7 nights all inclusive at £450! Says its in between Los Cristanos and Playa De Las Americas. Anyone on here been before?

    I stayed in Los Cristianos

    And went out most nights in Americas - absolute class.

    Be sure to drop in at Taylors Bar in Cristianos and say I sent you. Some nice girls work there, or at least they did when I went :D

    Seriously though, that area - great for either going out (Americas) or chilling out with peace and quiet (Cristianos). Really good nights in the Cristianos bars too, lots of live bands, Billy Connolly tribute act and such like. (Y)

    the hotel will be where the hot air ballon is walk to your left when facing the sea towards los christianos and walk towards the harbour end theres a football bar called pumms 1 euro a pint in frozem glasses and the best chicken curry on the island , try equila park of the tf 1 for a day out loads of animals and dislplays with eagles ect ps beware the time share men with scratch cards and the like telling you have won a bottle of bubbly ect

    We managed to teach one of the vendors a new sales pitch

    He was selling loads of watches so we taught him 'cheap watches tha noz' and he went round with that line to everyone else in the bar, we were pissing ourselves :D

    Area between Los Cristanos and Playa De Las Americas is best place to be.

    The opposite side of Las Americas is the older pisshead area (Wellington Street equivelent). Although saying that, the main seafront street has just been pedestrianised so ain't as bad as it used to be. Think most of the pissheads now go on weekend EasyJet Magaluff trips.
