Tenerife

I fly out to Tenerife tomoz and staying at the volcano hotel . Anyone stay there, comments welcome lads .

 

Stayed there a few years ago, very nice hotel and in a good location.

 

Spend as much time as you can exploring the volcano area. The Caldera I think it is called. It is something you will remember all your life, I cannot imagine anything more spectacular and incredibly unbelievable.
Make sure you take your video camera.
Also try to get to Santiago del Teide in the north west corner and take the mountain road through Masca.......... you WILL be totally gobsmacked by the incredible scenery.

 

We stayed in the Conquistador. Very very nice.

If you're a fan of water parks then get yourself up to Siam Park.

 

Went in August to the H10 in Costa adeje, some great pubs up that end. My sister was there the same time and she was in the Vulcano and loved it. Like Mapplewell Tyke said Siam park is worth a visit, that Tower of Power is something else.

 

If you need a top quality restaurant then my recommendation is ROSSO SUL MARE which will cost you no more than €15 in a taxi from where you are (it is in a village called La Caleta).

Siam Park is a good day, but don't try and negotiate cheap(er) tickets; they do not exist, unless you are a resident.

A good beach is Puerto Colon......a top quality beach is El Duque.

You are bound to enjoy it and I wish you a good holiday.

I'd recommend Siam Park too, brilliant water park.

 

One of my favourite islands. If you can hire a car definitely go up he volcano & go to the market at Santa Cruz.
