    The rumour that Joey Barton has handed in a transfer request is also doing the rounds on twitter. The source was a 'fake' SkySportsNews account.

    Has the potential to be more damaging because its being read by people who may never read football forums but they see these stories on Twitter and form their opinion based soley on that detail.
