Just called (the Mighty) Leeds United to order my dad a ticket for the North Stand at Oakwell. Leeds have a great online ticket system that I've used for years. This year, it's been redesigned and his password wasn't recognised. I tried to call the number suggested (0871...) but from Korea, on Skype, it doesn't work. I found an alternative on SNT0870 but as soon as I mentioned tickets, she told me to call the 0871 number and hung up. I called her back, she said she'd pass me through. She did... To an automated system, which ended the call after telling me tickets were available. I called her back, and she was audibly pissed off. She gave me a bollocking for not staying long enough on the line - I tried to explain it cut me off - but she talked over me and told me to wait longer this time. She passed me through to another woman, who changed the password immediately, and now he has a ticket... bish-bash-bosh. I know sometimes people grumble about our box office/the staff at Oakwell, but I've never experienced anything like that. She needs some lessons in manners.
