This past few days I've been thinking about how the police enforce such Draconian punishments on 'hooligans' but seem very afraid to say bugger all to terrorists.

In this country you can receive up to a 5 year ban and have exclusion zones implaced on you on match days IF the force feels your collective group of friends could cause disorder.......well how is it if your on a 'list' of people to be concerned about at MI5 and other national databases you are allowed to roam the streets un challenged?

    Institutionalised political correctness.

Scared of being called racist by the liberal 'do gooders '

You can get 5 year bans without actually committing a crime? Really?

Football hooligans aren't banned based on intelligence though are they?

They're banned after being arrested for violence.

The difficulty is that how do you know someone is going to massacre dozens of people until they actually do it. You can arrest people based on intelligence but how can you persist to detain someone who hasn't committed a crime?

You can be stood close by watching a bit of aggro and if the police decide you are linked to those kicking off then they can look to enforce a civil banning order through the courts. For example walking past station and giving someone a ****** sign or even a sarcastic wave.

Its not a criminal conviction so you are not entitled to legal aid. It's upwards to 2k a day to defend.

Police also get paid for everyone they get signed up.

Somehow I don't think the anti terrorism unit are afraid of looking racist. The issue is simply that the law states you can't lock people up willy nilly based on what they might do one day in the future. If we did our prisons would have more people in them than out. Every drug addict would be doing life in prison because they might turn to theft for example.

The change needs to be that simply going to Syria at the moment needs to become a crime punishable by prison or deportment. Expressing ANY pro isis message r feeling whether it's in public or online should be a crime punishable by prison or deportment. The list goes on but until those laws are changed then the police have their hands tied and can't do a thing other than investigate and determine that no laws have been broken. It isn't political correctness it's simply the law

Theres a fairly large blind eye turned to the activities of certain communities. Has been for a number of years.

    Near enough.

Along with 'human rights' which is why I suspect the home office isn't cancelling/cancelled the passports of returning jihadis.

Imagine, ******* off to the Middle East to join a banned organisation, get military training and then head back to the Uk with the skills and knowledge to cause absolute mayhem and finding out your passports been cancelled meaning you can't travel anywhere.

Then imagine being able to find some parasitical lawyer specialising in human rights and takes the government to court on legal aid claiming that not being able to renter the UK is an infringement of said rights and the shithouse gets a big **** off payout.

That's because it is an infringement of human rights until we change the law to make travelling to Syria illegal

But that's also an infringement of them.

It is illegal for Australians to travel to part of Syria because a known terror organisation is operational there. I'm sure we could introduce a similar law.

We could. But I'd much rather we ****** them off to live there and stopped them returning.

Hopefully, they get their hut decorated by a nice snake eye or the Soviet equivalent.

Our esteemed leader wants to do away with human rights, not to stop the odd extremist who may or may not be deported but to erode our rights in other areas. It seems that to beat terrorists who want to erode our human rights the government want to erode our human rights and impose longer prison sentences on people that are prepared to die for the cause.

Remember that the ECHR is nothing to do with the EU, and the only country in Europe not under it is Belarus - Europe's only dictatorship.

Changing your country to suit terrorists. To turn your country into one of those Arab states where freedoms are flimsy means the terrorists have won. Plain and straightforward.

Read an "interesting" comment from an Islamic "community representative" in a London yesterday.

" The Government could solve the current crisis overnight. Give the dissidents their passports back.
That way they would all go to Syria to fight for ISIS. Another way would be to introduce Sharia
law throughout the whole of the Great Britain."!!!!

So thats the answer ...... job done.!!!!
Wonder why the politicians have never thought of it.?

Are they really wired up rey't these people.?
    When in Rome etc etc.

We need to stop pussyfooting around
"This is our Country. DO YOU LIKE SEX AND TRAVEL" ??
    That's the answer.
