    Got lucky at Inverness but as many on here said at the time his overall record was 5hite and it would be a massive mistake making him our best paid manager ever. We definitely dodged a bullet.

    Whilst I was pretty glad when he refused us, from what I understand the constraints at Newport have been so great this season that anyone would have been struggling to put out a competitive side.

    So nobody on he has been saying we should give all our managers longer? That we should stick with them even if they are ****ing useless?

    Some said Danny Wilson or Dave Flitcroft should have been given longer, their opinion and they're entitled to it. Nobody said Terry Butcher should have been given the job for as long as possible regardless of whether he performed or not. Some may have said we need a settled manager, and let's be honest we do need a bit of longevity. I'll be honest, I wanted Butcher for the job when we were linked, I'm glad he didn't get it now in hindsight.
