Wish they would just get on with it. This could be the longest drawn out transfer in history!

Let's hope that when it does happen it doesn't take months for our share to filter through.

Not sure why it matters. Been mentioned several times on how cryne has stated the money is for the clubs long term future and not a 2 week spending splurge

I would have written, "Patrick Cryne's share".

I doubt the fee, and therefore our cut, will be paid in full upfront. Much more likely to be structured and paid in instalments I would have thought.

Exactly and as any fee is likely to be in instalments our cut will also be paid in instalments.

I know all that. I'm not suggesting we should go out and splash it all on a couple of players.

It would just be nice for it to be settled instead of "when the Stones money comes in" being a regular topic of conversation.

To be replaced with threads titled "what we should we now do with the stoney money", "where has the stones money gone" and "how come we still made a loss after the stones money". Looking forward to it..

Why is it Patrick Cryne's share?

Is it also Bill Kenwright's share?

I get a feeling that some of our own transfer dealings are being held up with this. With clubs waiting, holding out for more money and/or us waiting for the money to spend.

I too wish they'd get on with it.

Agree and I certainly don't want us spending it silly after all this waiting. Six mill plus should though stabilise the club and lay down a solid foundation for re-establishing ourselves as a sound and competent second tier club that can punch its weight with the so called big boys and that for me is as good as it gets.
