Did anyone else hear his call to Radio Sheffield last nght? Slagging off the club because he and some friends turned up for the Wednesday match and were turned away. According to him the fact that the match was all ticket wasnt well publicised. He claimed that he hadnt heard of the Barnsley Chronicle and if it existed then it wasnt available in his local store. Terry lives near me in Fitzwilliam. I buy the Chronicle every Friday from the paper shop that is directly opposite his house on Wakefield Rd. Terrys brother is a well know Sheffield Wednesday ex footballer and had he wanted to go so badly Im sure he could have wangled a ticket. Im all for people having a go at the club when they are clearly at fault ie the Liverpool ticketing dabacle but this guy doesnt have a case.
He's never heard of the Barnsley Chronicle???? Didn't htey used to advertise on the back of the match day program every week? Aren't they mentioned around the ground and on the tannoy still?? Is he a Wednesday Fan?
Well i know for a fact that they sell the chronicle in hemsworth because i see it and several other publications e.g barnsley football weekly in the post office every day as i go to college there.... So Terry is a bullshitter...
probably a wednesday fan wanting to get amongst the Barnsley fans so he could kick it off when Wednesday went on to thrash us. (clown)
I no for a fact that it is sold in hemsworth because i buy it from hemsworth. As far as i no it's sold in 3 shops one been the local post office and in one of the others theres a posters up advertising that they sell the barnsley weekly and monthly and the chronicle is at the side of them.

He's right If you ask the average man in the street whether or not there is a home match this week, they won't even know. That's before we even get onto the subject of ticket availabilty. It's the same with the "quid a kid" business. A great idea, but it gets zero publicity.
