Gary Johnson's side have now played four friendlies, winning all their matches away from home against their Southern League neighbours.

    Friendlies:

    Saturday 9 July: Bishop's Cleeve 0, Cheltenham Town 4

Tuesday 12 July: Evesham United 1, Cheltenham Town 5

Thursday 14 July: Cirencester Town 0, Cheltenham Town 3

Saturday 16 July: Bath City 0, Cheltenham Town 2

Tuesday 19 July: Barnsley (home) 7.45pm

Seems like they are a team with goals in them. Can we keep a clean sheet?

We can scout Dan Holman as well while we're at it.

Probably 2-3 years too old for us but that lad does score goals.

Genuinely cant see how this lad hasn't been tried at a higher level.

When you look at the types of goals he scores they're top quality.

Will be interesting to see how he does in League 2.

I know this sounds a bit daft, but I'd quite like to see us really tested and on the ropes in all honesty - let's see where our limitations are at the minute. It's all well and good going out and beating teams at a canter, but in all seriousness, we're not going to do that in the Championship. These next few games, and especially the Everton, Hull and Peterborough games, will give us something to think about, and hopefully help Hecky plug those last few gaps in the side.
