The club should follow this up now - huge marketing opportunity here The ground will be full - get staff all around the ground selling cut price scarves, flags etc cash only (still at profit); and kids t shirts. The youth players could do this at no extra cost to the club, and it will generate more interest & atmosphere. Similar initiatives at Man City/ Newcastle etc have worked at treat.

RE: I want a refund - I've got a season ticket nt I've got a pass, and I'm chuffed to bits at this. Be great to see oakwell full!! We should have done this to start with, as Forest will have sold some tickets. Just means Barnsley will have to refund them some money! I take it the people who have all ready bought Forest tickets will either get a refund or could have money off a Swansea/Wolves ticket! I reckon it will be a sell out as Forest will fetch 6000 as well at £5 each!
We won't give it to Forest. It'll be one of those 'community days' where we don't have to pass on the reduction.
Be An Easy Sell Out In Home Ends We pissed a sell out for a tenner against Leicester, so a fiver shouldn't be a problem.
RE: The rate is only for home fans nt Normally, whatever the price is in the ponty, Forest have to have the same. You have to give away fans the same as the opposite side. The 1200 Forest fans who went to Burnley have been offered half price tickets for Barnsley by the club because they was crap & lost 5v0!
But the club can nominate one game a year a 'community day' where any offers/promotions that are available to home fans aren't passed on. I think Leicester did it to us a couple of years back.
two years ago Final home game of the 2006/2007 season. Home end sold out with many fans turned away. Pisses on your bonfire doesn't it.
