    After watching this - it just proves that in many ways television has gone backwards.
    There isn't anything on the tele right now that is sort of similar or comes anywhere near being as good at this type of entertainment.

    For the younger guys that haven't seen this program before it must have been an eye opener for them.

    Chris Evans is an absolute genius

    The hairy baby (now 17) is Owen a lovely kid from Monk Bretton. Tarn fan & plays cricket for Monk Bretton.
    Loved the show, hated Evans

    great show last night, my kids loved it, and wife cant beleive she never watched it when it was on originally

    Annoys me does that.

    Calling someone a genius. Just cos they like them. And are good at their job.

    Or worse - an "absolute" genius.

    Chris Evans nowhere near fits the description "genius".

    And like me you're an old man. Before your time.

    Chris Evans to me is a first class ******, I can't stand him but that s just my opinion.

    I agree and I cant stand him but I did like the original series of TGI friday the format just worked and the one off special brought back some memories it was an entertaining show - some bits of absolute quality

    I never really liked it the first time around, I just couldn't get into it. I watched twenty minutes or so last night waiting for 'In Bruges' to start (because it over ran significantly) and again I just didn't enjoy it.

    I agree it was always full of music I liked but could never really enjoy it (and I was usually too busy getting ready to go out). Watched it on catch up this morning and there's still summat missing for me.

    That about sums it up for me. It's not crap, there is just something missing from it.
