Should have been done a hell of a lot earlier than it was.</p>

I hope he stays but I think he'll be off soon.

Don't think it was a brave decision, it should've been done weeks before. Muller had been at fault for goals conceded throughout the season and he had to have an absolute shocker before he was dropped.

A lot of people were asking for it a few weeks before it happened. But it was a good decision. I deally we can keep Steele and get some cash for Muller.

Dropping your keeper that has been booed by fans, made three howlers in one game

and been **** for months is not a brave decision. A brave decision would have been to recognise the issue much earlier and risked changing it then. Davey FAILED to make a brave decision and it cost us valuable points until the point that he basically had no choice at all but to drop him and bring in the better keeper

It's true!! After the Swansea game Davey had absolutely NO OPTION but to drop Muller. His confidence was totally shot.

It's A Shame Steele Hasn't Been Offered A New Contract....

as i'd love him to be first choice next season. He was one of the few who didn't throw his shirt in the away end at full time. Memento for him to remember his time with us.......

    Brave Decision?!

Definately should have happpened at the turn of the year however you look at it.

Davey has spent a year telling the press he not only has the best keeper in the league but two of them, then why not rotate them when one is out of form?

Had the same with Watson and Leese, the latter would play, concede 1 goal, get dropped then watson would let in 4 and keep his place. i.e. the second keeper was never given a proper chance.

For my money, Steele was made an unfair scapegpat for our early seaon poor form.

Why should he get credit? Davey dropped Steele after making him man of the match yet it to weeks of poor games and mistakes for Davey to do the same to Muller. It should have been done weeks before it was.
