After that last half an hour against Doncaster. I was beginning to think we may actually be in trouble. But, as all the Davey backers said, the players have proved they're fully behind the manager. The mind boggles at what the standard of performance would be like if they didn't like him! Just for the record :- In the 37 league games we've played since Simon Davey got his new contract we've won 8, drawn 9 and lost 20. In the last 30 away league games, we've won 3. These figures MUST be ignored at all costs, whilst at the same time conjuring up as many pitiful & pathetic excuses as possible to challenge these FACTS. But, apparently, Simon Davey is the best manager we could possibly employ and there isn't anyone better we can afford, so no one is allowed to complain. I think I'll join the rest of 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil', because obviously everything is perfectly fine.
Is there an estimated cost of relegation from this league anywhere?
I'd be interested to see it weighed up against the cost of replacing Davey.

I'll take the blame for everything being wrong It's usually the fan's fault, so I'll shoulder the responsibility. Oh, and when we're relegated (which we will be on our current form), I'll still get a season ticket for the 2009/10 season and still won't boo the players during a game. I've done the same for 40 years, so it won't stop now. But because I want a new manager, I'm obviously not a real fan. To answer your question, I don't know. Hope this helps.
fan base 7k, where has this figure arisen from? barnselys fan base is far far greater than 7k. its just that a lot of people cannot afford to go as the working man is being driven away due to the money grabbing barstewards like brian howard
