The last few defeats I have witnessed I have left the ground a bit uncaring and not feeling particularly bothered that we lost

Not today I actually had some passion back and left the ground really angry. Its good to have some passion back!

The spoiling and time wasting tactics employed by Cardiff and abetted by a particularly inept referee got me really fired up - I really hope they dont stay top of the table for long if thats what they do every week - horrible way to play horrible team

felt sorry for Steele today - complete waste of 2 top class saves for us to then concede from the corner

On the plus side once we put on RNL and Buzasky we actually looked like we might score - and had we played anything resembling the right amount of added time we might have even nicked a deseved draw - or had the ref given the odd foul every now and again - especially one of a couple in the penalty area

Thought Davies and Steele were top class today - shame they are two players likely to be leaving in Jan

Not sure how Greening got man of the match ahead of those 2 though he had an OK debut

equally not sure how Hassell cant get in this defence - or foster for that matter - Actually thought Wiseman was our best defender today - though thats not saying much

and how does Done get in ahead of O Brien

the good thing for me today was after their second went in I expected us to fold and them to go on and get more goals but in fact we came back and in the end they were hanging on using every illegal trick in the book

No, that's not how we play every week. We're normally so open & naive it's not true. But clearly, after reading reading comments on here, that's how we were today - and I've got to say I'm delighted. It's probably a reaction to our shocking away record and then a determination to hold on to what we've got. It's all we've heard in our press this week. Not pretty but obviously effective - "professional" if it's your team.

We topped the "fair play" table last season btw and are top again this year apparently. Before yesterday, we were the only side without a red card in the division by all accounts. In fact, the last sending off we had was 100 games ago when Darcy Blake was sent off - at Barnsley!

As I said, it's a welcome change to shut up shop - we've surrendered a two goal lead twice on our travels this season. And, for you statos, that's the FIRST point we've won when playing in blue this season

I've got to admit I'd be happy for us to shut up shop and/or time waste if it meant a much needed 3 pts coming out way

I must admit I was disappointed with the time-wasting tactics. You looked to be too good a side to need them.

How the referee gave only 4 mins added on was a mystery. As I understand it, 30 seconds is allowed for each substitution. All subs were used, so that's 3 minutes straight away. And with the injuries, time-wasting, and the sending-off, I anticipated at least 5 minutes, but wouldn't have been surprised to have 6.

Mr Whitestone is definitely NOT on my christmas card list:D
