Anyone brave the Blackhorse? we parked up at the Leisure Ireland car park and thought we'd have a look.................... 2 riot vans and a 20stone baldy bouncer slouched outside kinda put me off, avin the kids with me an all.
Very friendly. Nice ale, cheap sarnies. Couldn't fault it missen, although I agree it hardly looked welcoming.
locals must say tho, locals were a friendly bunch, walked up to the ground amonst them, all willing to give directions and tell us how to find our way in. Could have saved a fortune on tickets tho. Next time, just buy kids tickets, cos you just put them in the bar code scanner, no one checking. Think it was the same at Elland Road, aint technology great.
Spent a very pleasant couple of hours in there watching scum on Al Jazeera TV. Everyone was very friendly. Wished I'd stayed in there instead of going to the game
On the opening day of one of my pubs the very first customer that walked in was in his mid 40's , had a shaved head, skin tight jeans, long doc martin boots and tattoos all over. He sat rocking on his seat whilst mumbling incoherently to himself. Is it any surprise that I wondered what the bloodyhell I had got myself into?

That fella turned out to be one of the best customers I had. Just shows how first impressions can be wrong!

Pub was fine, decent ale and they had the match on.
Oh and the barmaid had a fantastic set which made it even better

Very friendly boozer They did kick us out of the room with the better telly so they could put the rugby on though
