That bit of skill by Hammill in front of the ponty in the first half.

Worth the entrance fee alone. What a player he is. Really hope he stays for another season - I understand there's a chance of it happening.

There were periods of the first half when he was almost unplayable today. Absolute quality player.

Said same at half time. It was worth the entrance fee for that alone.

Couldn't agree more. Wing wizardry. Sublime. It was worth the entrance fee watching him play today. Mate of mine said he was show boating. He can showboat all he likes for me. The lad is a genius on the ball. I've seen George best and Eddie gray and I have to say that they didn't do tricks like our man can. He is lethal going forward. We should break the bank to keep him. Why? Because he is an absolute inspiration to the fans and his teammates alike. A truly wonderful footballer. He seems really happy here. It's like he's come home and he knows it. He'd be daft to leave. He had their full back on toast and the opposition don't know how to cope with him. Break the bank paddy and get him on another contract. He will drive us forward to even better things than were experiencing at the minute.
Loved it at the end when he went to the pony and bowed his head and genuflected. Look at that for a word!

Entirely agree with all said. Slightly worried that he was struggling with his calf for the last 15 mins. Incredibly fit lad though so fingers crossed he's OK for Bury.

Unfortunately the longer we stay in this league there is every chance he will suffer a career threatening injury.

    He makes me feel things.

If a Championship side come in for him then he'll be gone. No doubt in my mind.

If they don't, he'll stay. I imagine though he's well above everyone else in terms of contract so to a degree, you've got to expect him to be as f.cking wonderful as he is.

I can't wait for the 'will he stay/go' saga on here this summer...

I love him. There must've been 4 or 5 wow moments in that first half & he was even flying into tackles & winning the ball, think he got it off Stewart 3 times with strong tackles

Love Hammill's skills -joy to watch - just wish he'd put his head up at times and look for a red shirt - could have squared it a couple of times today

there is an annoying truth to that of course, this league is full of garbage teams and players who will kick and push & pull as much as they are allowed to get away with. adam hammill belongs in a better league than this, and id be delighted if he chooses to stay with us beyond this summer.

Funniest thing when he had tore their player a new arsehole and he went down dizzy!! Never seen an injury like it, Hammill was laughing.

Sweet Jesus of Nazareth. Lets start calming down people, he's a good player for this level but even mentioning him in a sentence with George Best is ridiculous.

I think he is back playing the best football of his career again here with us.

He kick starred our season and full credit to him for resurrecting his career in such a fashion after he was written off by almost everyone in the professional game.
He is a shining light and long may he stay!

Could you imagine putting George Best into today's premier league? Different game different era.

One of the few players who I genuinely think would be just as good in todays game as he was in his day.

I was thinking of a star based pun and then saw that you had already written one for yourself! Stellar job!
