Possibly one of the silliest rumours yet. But... if there was any truth in it would anyone be Happy if Hoddell said he was going to be hand manager
Glenn Hoddle would be OK if Barnsley had wads and wads of money. Hoddle and managers like Hoddle (e.g. McCarthy) only want a club where they can BUY instant success. That is to say, buying players already playing in the Championship or buying players knocking on the door of Premeirship teams. I dont think Barnsley will be in that position even after the take over All that Barnsley needs is to be quite competitive in the wages they pay in this league..........they then would be able to compete for players like Norwood. The manager who is able to spot such players and then develop them is Keith Hill I wouldn't swap Keith Hill for any other manager.............Keith Hill suits Barnsley All what Barnsley needs is just a bit more funding so they are a bit more competitive............it looks like that funding has now been released with the loan signings of Buzacky, Sinclair, Greening and Tudgay. Pity the funding wasnt there (or wasn't used) at the begining of the season.
