Is one of the best penalty saves I've seen in a long time..take a bow son

 

the save was indeed one of the best............ however i though the saying was 'tik a boo son' and not ' take a bow son' .......as made famous by that clown Andy Gray of (ex) Sky Sports fame.

 

No, the phrase is "take a bow" as for example in the theatre, he's not taking "a boo" is he? It's only Andy Gray's accent that makes it sound like "boo" but he's actually saying "bow"

Take a bow, tik a boo, tickety boo, whatever, the point is it was a fantastic save by a keeper who lets remember isn't cardiffs first choice, not in the league anyway. Cardiff fans I don't like one bit, but the club made a good case for the strength of the championship, which is nice in a season where in my opinion the championship is weaker than it has been for three or four years
