That pub at the bottom of Old Mill Lane

I think it went through a number of names, "Tollgate", "Bentley's", "Time and place" and now I think it's a Carphone Warehouse. Does anyone remember any other names that it went by because I'm sure there's one I'm missing here. I used to play football on the pitch at the back and I can't recall that the pub was called any of the above names at the time.

    Thanks

I was half way through the arrangements to lease it from Whitbread when they said, "No, **** off Windy, you can't lease it, we're selling it instead." The b8stards.

I was looking forward to restoring the pitch and sorting a team out. Carphone chuffing Warehouse haven't got a team have they eh?

I thought at one time it was a gay pub. It was also owned by the same guy who had Pussycats in Wakefield. FWIW, Antonio's still doesn't sound right but maybe senile dementia has set in already and I'm thinking of somewhere else.

Definitely Antonio`s, It was opened by Elsie Tanner from Corra`. It was owned by the same people that had Amsterdam Bar in Huddersfield. It was a Gay bar during the week and a pussy haunt at weekends. Loved the place.
