RE: ! in 3 chances , thats better than Andy Cole He probably misses as many as every other striker we have, but he came from a lower division so we don't like him. I've seen Nads miss some total f**king gimmes from the same kind of distance, but "at least he found the position" and so on. One rule for one...
Nowt to do with the chances he misses And nowt to do with where he's come from. I just think he's crap. Well, no, that's a bit harsh. I think he's very ordinary , even for an average league 1 side like us.
RE: Nowt to do with the chances he misses As are/were Conlon, Hassell, Colgan, Devaney, Burns, Chopra and countless more before him, and no doubt many more to come.
My only problem with Richards is the fans that claim he is a grafter and puts himself about , when in the games I have seen him play he has done neither of these but gets no hassle for it.
Nardiello has been labelled a lazy waster and to be honest I dont think there is nothing he can do in order to win those fans over.

RE: But the majority of those produce a hell of a lot more than Richards Haven't seen much of Richards, to be honest. Just pointing out that fans always single out that player who "doesn't deserve his place", "isn't good enough" and so on, and many of them turn out to be okay.
I've no problem with Richards being part of this striker rotation thing I just can't understand why Nardiello isn't. Richards was rubbish at Port Vale. Not just a bit off form, but absolutely rubbish. And that was after a few poor performances. A week later he's back in the side while the guy who has the best goals per game record at the club (he's even got that accolade this season btw, 4 goals in 7 starts) is still stuck warming the bench.
RE: I've no problem with Richards being part of this striker rotation thing Must admit, I don't get that either. I'm not Nardiello's biggest fan, but you can't fault his stats. Maybe Ritchie just doesn't think he can last a game without killing himself? He might be a goalscorer, but he's hardly durable.
Nardiello has definitely got his faults But Ritchie seems to have forgotten that he also has his plus points. He scores goals.
