Haven't really paid much attention to it, to be honest. But in my alcohol haze, I was just about to go to bed when, in the back of my mind, I remembered hearing that Bournemouth had got 8 at Birmingham. Looking at the table, Birmingham are in trouble, whilst Bournemouth are fourth. And good luck to them. But looking at the other end, it has pleased me no end to see Brighton just above the bottom three, and Leeds not far higher.
Brum have only won one home game in the last calendar year. Now that would take the gloss off of anyone's Saturday afternoons.
Before the season started I fancied Blackpool, Birmingham and Huddersfield to be the bottom 3 and Bournemouth to be dark horses for automatic promotion. Looks like I might have got one right for once.
