"We'll lose, play crap and Coppinger will have a blinder. Same old same old. In other words yet another waste of my time and money.... and yours too..... as per usual there." Is what I said yesterday in a thread. Don't know about Coppinger but today it didn't matter..... it was us that were dreadful. Donny were poor but ye gods, we were awful. What is laughingly called a "midfield" really is a joke. So weak and ineffective. The service to the forwards is piss poor which makes them look useless. It was almost hilarious, if it wasn't so depressing, to see our players trying to pass the ball to each other and failing so many times, so miserably. We are in a desperate struggle now, but what makes me so cross now is that we do not appear to have improved from our last few seasons of struggle. We were this bad under Hill and latterly Flitcroft, but why oh why are we still bad under Wilson? Is it poor players or poor managers?
We need men in this league not kids, it's physical and we are getting walked all over week after week.
The Manager recruits the players, if the players don't perform then the Manager has to held to account
It was poor today . But we can't keep sacking managers season after season . We need stability and time for our young ones to develop
Or back to what it was under Bobby Collins and Mad Mel Machin. Attendances fluctuate. Luckily I am not part of the Wednesday massive so don't really care.
