Cant believe how many people on here like the blue kit.
Why dont we go the whole way and have blue and white stripes next season?
As for those people who say we are only connected with the colour red. Well what about the white and sometimes black that crops up on the home kit regularly?
Instead we wear the colours of our biggest local rivals. Ridiculous.
Just out of interest how many times have Sheff Wed had a red away kit?
We should either stick to having White away kits with varied trim, or something completely different the majority of teams out there. Hoops anyone?
As for the person who said the last blue kit was good i hope you are going to get your eyes checked.
Also the Perrys advertising board on the back of both kits looks silly and the badge looks like its been designed by a young child.
I have for many years bought one or two shirts a season. I often bought at my most optimistic time (pre season) when my judgement is blurred cos its my club.
No longer am i going to keep kidding myself that the club i have supported for longer than i can remember knows what they are doing.

Your life must be pretty uneventful if such a trivial matter can get you so het up. Relax, Its only a shirt and its the third blue away shirt weve had that I can remember.

Maybe wearing anoraks would be more suitable.

No it really is eventful. But i do have Sundays off to moan about trivial matters such as the club treating their supporters like idiots.
Just dont blame me when people stop you in the street while weaing your spanking new super blue shirt and ask you the way to Coventry cathedral!

    My eyes are fine thanks

BBS FC used it as our away kit last year and I think every player liked it... very smart indeed.

The fact that you are in the minority with this shirt suggests maybe it's you who needs your eyes checked.

To counter some of your points

1.The kit is a light blue so in no way like Wednesday.

    2. The idea of a "change" kit (note the term "change" rather than "away") is to be distinct from the "home" kit in the event of a colour clash - therefore I feel that blue does the job perfectly. White? Well 1. Thats the Scum up the road! and 2. what happens when playing a team that wears red/white stripes?

    3. No idea how many times Wednesday have had a red kit but then again I don't take too much notice of their kit

    4. Agree about Perry's but unfortunately its the way commercialism is going in the game and if it brings a few extra grand into the club then fair enough I guess.

    5. Hoops? Are you serious? I'm fat enough without wearing hoops to make me look even fatter!

It's a cracking away kit and it achieves theprimary objective - to be different from the home kit!

And there's no danger of us needing a third kit like last year.

What colour do you suggest it is then? Orange and purple stripes? That'd be good cos it wouldn't clash with anyone. Obviously.

Black is Newcastle, white is Leeds, yellow is Norwich, green is Plymouth, orange is Blackpool, blue is loads of teams... what exactly do you suggest?

By your theory of the away shirt looking like Wednesday (despite the fact it's absolutely nothing like it), then our home shirt is like Sheffield United... oh and Man Utd as well... we'd better not wear red anymore.
