    Scene 1 - the attack
    ----------------------------
Kennedy picks up the ball and looks up field
Nobody attacks him so he decides to run into space where he finally gets closed down so he dinks the ball side footed up and over down the wing
Ogrady hurls himself at a 50/50 ball
The ball drops to Ogradys feet whilst he wrestles with 2 players
    He turns one way
Then the other and then lays the ball off to kennedy whos legged it upfield
Kennedy knocks it inside to the perkins who is busy pointing at someone he should actually be picking up himself
He then knocks sideways to ogrady whi lays it off back to kennedy who then takes 3 touches to get in a cross
The ball flies into the box and its deserted as pedersens decided to join in the party on the left wing

    Scene 2 - the corner
    ----------------------------
All the big lads are sent forward
    We jostle in the box
Kennedy with his wizard of a foot cant beat the first man
    CUT
    Take 2
    -----------
Kennedy wasnt going to fluff his lines this time so knocks it short to paddy who goes on mazy run only to lose the ball.
The opposition play the ball out quick to the men on the half way line and they hit us on the break
All our defenders are up in the box still waiting for the cross
    We go a goal down

    Scene 3 - the defence
    ------------------------------
We are defending a set piece
We get 'everyone' back in the box but nobody on the posts
    The ball is whipped in
Mvoto rises like a salmon and heads it away
The lack of any barnsley player upfield means the ball is picked up and we are under attack again and again

    The compere
    ------------------
In between the scenes the stage is given over to mccourt
He goes on dazzling runs and gives us joy and frustration in equal measures
After he tires the ball is given back to kennedy for scene 1.

The above is said in jest but are basically they key things that seem to happen time after time after time. Its like goig to watch a re-run of the same play over and over again.

This is why i think Flicker is on thin ice.

There are few other camoes in the play but come on flicker! You need some new material.

    Out take.

Fox receives the ball in midfield. The crowd will him to go forwards and trouble the opposition.

In reality, he stops and passes 6 yards across the centre circle to Perkins (who has a man half a yard behind him). We lose the ball. If Perkins wind the ball, he passes to Kennedy and it's another repeat of scene 1.

Or the skill, passing, shooting and beard.

    Good thread, though.

    Fox is Flitcroft's handbrake.

We could really do with a Jacob Butterfield / redders type player that can mix things up in the middle. Productive with the ball, good shot, pick a pass, get stuck in and also not neglect the defensive side of things.

I think our lack of creativity in the middle who be solved i we played with a creative CAM like McCourt and Mellis. Then we have midfielders that can run around all day long Perkins,Dawson,Etuhu. Thats how to get the best out of our players, O`Brien running up and down the wing and RNL on the left with 3 centre backs and Pedersen and O`Grady up front. Same tactic as last season but a better and stronger squad.

Jacob ButterCup doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as redders - just because one person in particular worships the ground he walks on!
