    Oakwell heading for derby sell-out
BARNSLEY are tipping Saturday's derby to be an all- ticket sell-out.
The Championship game with Sheffield Wednesday is expected to draw a 20,000-plus crowd with every available seat filled.
Segregation means that the final figure will be below Oakwell's 23,186.
The box office bonanza has prompted corporate backing and sponsorship which is outstripping Barnsley's season in the Premiership, according to a club spokesman.
A maximum 11 sponsors have signed up for the match which has a 1pm kick-off.
The last time Wednesday played at Oakwell, it drew a 19,659 gate in February, 2005 and the game finished goalless.
The Barnsley squad rested yesterday and were back in training today and caretaker- manager Simon Davey has not ruled injury victims Paul Reid (ankle) and Neil Austin (deadleg) out of his planning.
The two defenders, were having treatment yesterday and were being further assessed today.
Brian Howard is out of contention. He was due to have his damaged shoulder X-rayed.
Midfield colleague Sam Togwell is serving a suspension on Saturday.
The game could be Davey's last in charge at Oakwell.
The Barnsley board are expected to complete interviews for a manager early in the New Year - after Monday's visit to Wolves.
There are five candidates on the short list to replace Andy Ritchie. Academy Davey is a contender.
