This board has raised my spirits after last nights choker. Most times after a bad result this board can be quite unreadable and depressing but going through the posts this morning has been uplifting and got me upbeat again and ready for our game at Forest at the weekend. Our mission can be achieved.
As a rule I read but don't post but, since Saturday's events, I have felt the need to seek comfort from this board. You're all doing a very good job in lifting the spirits; I feel better every time I've been on here. Throw a Flicker interview in to the mix and it's like I've been throwing Prozac down my neck like they were Skittles.
Ive not read most of the posts, in fact only yours..but here are my thoughts...will we go down? I don't know, but the last two home results have made it likely not certain, but likely... In my view we have 2 very hard games..Forest and Hull and a game at Hudders on the last day where owt could happen. I'm not a doom and gloom merchant, far from it, but do I expect us to stay up...the answer would no..you can blame the board, Hill or the last 2 results..but basically we've not been good enough for the last few seasons.... But stop up or go down, I look forward to the future under Flicker, if we'd carried on the our pre-Christmas form, and style of play, I would have feared the drop. I would have expected gates to drop to 5k..But not now, im sure we'll keep the 8-9k we get now. In PC Flicker Mellon and the rest who decide to stay we trust ..as always ill give my support choose which league where in.....Ureds
Biglil and myself are good examples of happy clappers. Eternal optimists who thinks the whole squad are potential world beaters. When we give up, you know we are truly doomed. And we have.
That's just how I feel. Depressed beyond belief last night but I've been lifted by the posts today too. So, to continue the positive vibe have yourself a quick watch of this: COYR - let's get up again!
