    technically we were the 'away' team

    which is why we wore red shorts and not our first choice shorts.

    Anyway, they were actually our SPARE shorts, technically our away ones were black :)

    i'm sure you'll know the rules of football

    When you are the away team (as we were) then you are not alowed to wear your home kit if it clashes. As you'll no doubt be aware our red shirt and socks did not clash with ipswich but our white shorts did so as per the regulations you have to change to a different colour. We chose to wear the red shorts which were registered to the FA/FL as a change strip just as the black ones were.

    The term 'away kit' doesnt exist, simple 'change strip'. So yes they were as much our away kit as the black ones were which is exactly the same reason why mr's flinders and colgan have worn green, yellow, grey and blue so far this season.

    yeah, the scoreboard is always in alphabetical order at wembley.

    apart from when england play.
