Posted on the sky1 'dont forget the lyrics' message board. Can anyone really be so thick as to not realise why they might know the british songs more than the american ones?</p> </p> <table cellspacing="2" cellpadding="0" width="100%" align="left" border="0"><tbody><tr><td style="width: 1px"> </td><td class="txt4" style="width: 100%; padding-top: 4px" valign="top" colspan="3"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="90%" align="left" border="0"><tbody><tr><td class="txt5" style="padding-bottom: 5px">Is the british version easier </td></tr><tr><td class="txt4" valign="top" align="left">I've been watching the american one on youtube and I don't know hardly any of their songs, but I know loads of the songs on the british one. I once watched Who wants to be a Millionaire in the US You know those easy questions below £1000 (or in this case $1000) - I couldnt do any of them Bizarrely once you got to the more difficult questions on Science Literature etc I could do almost as well as I do on the British version. Isnt it wierd the Americans put the hardest questions first
Were they actually harder or just sort of regionalised? ie questions that you wouldnt know because you aren't american?
of course they werent harder - questions about US TV, baseball, Americakn football etc and sayings. I am sure if you had been rought up in the US they are as easy as the first questions are to us - but many of our questions a foreigner would struggle with. - Same point as the one about lyrics hence my reply
oops I can't remember what sort of questions they put first on who wants to be a millionaire though, thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it.
I'm with you. Thats what I meant by I cant remember what questions we have first. Couldn't remember if theyre just common sense general questions or whether they're region specific ones. I guess it's because the only question I remember is from the french one, where the answer is the sun or something and he gets it wrong
Ar lass struggles on those on the British version I'm just waiting to hammer her at Trivial Pursuits!
You should try monopoly And throw in some made up rule about the car having to go the other way round the board (the equivalent of driving on the left) just to see if she fals for it.
So let me get this right - you have only been married a few weeks and you cant wait to hammer her..... ... at trivial persuits. I dont know where to start
RE: This is a good one And he still had a big smile, top lad in my book hes got good attitude, gotta keep smiling that's the name of the game....
