    Kenwyne Jones,strong and pacy and scores goals hes only 22,cant believe hed be available at 250,000 would be a great signing for our club,he would be an investment at his age, we would not lose money on him,a sound investment.

    Not going to happen

    Southampton just sold Blackstock to QPR for £500k, Jones is on the bench, only takes an injury and he'll be in first team, cant see Burley letting him go for £250k, sorry like.

    we're waiting for the Premiership transfer window to close. Shipperley on loan is the best we can hope for.

    Sorry I know football posts are sometimes a rarity on here but out of all the mentioned targets loan or to buy Jones for me fits the bill.

    his wages. Club source says he's on £3,500 / week at Southampton but after his World Cup involvement he now wants £9,000 / week which we would not agree to.
