It's **** isn't it? We are looking all but down already and if last season was a miracle, I think we'd need something of genesis proportions to fix our current situation. So, do they let Flicker go? It'd certainly cost a lot of money, perhaps money we don't have. Not only in terms of severance for the management team, but also whoever comes in will want money to spend, and a good wage for fixing the mess we are in. If we stick with the management team, we could (and probably will) go down with a whimper. How much loyalty do we owe Flitcroft for last season's fabulous survival? For me, we need a change. I hate saying it, but what we're seeing is plainly not good enough, and we have sacked Managers for a hell of a lot less. But if we do go for a change, we had bloody better make sure that we have someone decent to take up the reigns, because I really don't want to see the calamitous search for a manager we saw last December. I would hope however that our new board have a lot more contacts and could attract interest from a better standard of Manager than we did last year. As far as today goes, we were awful, and a tiny bit unlucky. But mainly awful, bordering on *****. Saw so many fans leaving at half time saying they'd had enough- and that's the real worry. When fans start losing faith and leaving at half time, you know the writing is on the wall.
